Effective Worker

Posted by admin in Insights, blog opps on January 22nd, 2012 |  No Comments »

I am happy when I am around with positive people and that positive energy is the one that keeps me go on despite of the very busy days at work.  But you know what, I try my best to have a stress free environment and so even if I am busy at work I let myself enjoy my ps3 new games when I am at home.  This way I am able to separate myself from the chaos of the meetings.

Being an effective worker is really a challenge especially if you don’t know where to start and how to get out from the chaotic schedules.  That is what they say but then for me it is just a matter of setting priorities and making yourself productive every minute you are in the office.  That way you don’t need to go home and still work at home.

Work when you are inside your office but learn to relax the moment you enter your home.  This way you will still have enough energy the following day and until the week is over.  Don’t stress yourself!  Be happy and be affective at work!

The Rule of 72

Posted by admin in Awareness on January 22nd, 2012 |  No Comments »

Have you heard about the rule of 72?  During our college days it is actually being thought in the form of the compounding interest.  Later that I know that this rule is one of the greatest mathematical inventions created by no other than Isaac Newton.  The rule of 72 is actually the simplest form on how to compute on how fast our money will grow.  It is the method of computing how much time will our money will doubled with a given interest.

To make it more simple this is how to compute it:

72/interest rate = the no. of years your money will doubled.

Alright, let’s give an example to give you an idea….

example: Juan invested his money in a bank with a 4% interest annually while Grace invested her money in a mutual fund with an average yield of 12% annually.  How many years will take to double their money?

Juan’s investment:

72/4 = 18 years

Grace’s investment:

72/12 = 6 years

Looking at the two investments portfolio there’s only around 8% difference but that difference makes it about 12 years difference.  You have to take note that in investments the time has a significant roles.  The longer it takes for your money to grow the longer it takes for you to wait.

Do you want to learn more about investments?  It is not too late and it will not cost you a dime because there are free seminars available.  If you are interested feel free to contact me by sending your message here and I am willing to guide where and how to do it….

Posted by admin in Awareness, blog opps on January 15th, 2012 |  No Comments »

It was two days ago when the tragedy happened.  There were more than 4000 people on board when it happened and there were three people confirmed dead.  Rescue operation is still on-going but since the Italian Cruise ship is enormous it is difficult to cover by the rescuers.  Looking at the pictures taken by the train camera, I can say that this Italian Cruise Ship mishap is another warning for all of us.  Accident comes in the most unexpected time and we never know if we will be among the survivors or we will be one of the casualties.

It is very important to always make ourselves alert and ready.  Survivors from Italian Cruise ship mishap will remember this horrible incident and will be their lesson to value their life and other’s life.  May this tragedy become an eye opener for us to always be a good human being because we never know when will be our last day here on earth.  Enjoy life and always be a better human being.

Year-End Baptismal Celebration

Posted by admin in Inspiration, blog opps on December 25th, 2011 |  No Comments »

It’s Christmas but nevertheless we are busy preparing for the personalized baptism gifts for my friend’s baby girl who will be baptized this coming December 30.  It becomes a tradition here in our subdivision to have a year-end baptismal celebration in line with the feast of the Holy Family.  It’s indeed a grand feast for everyone because it will be a double celebration and will extend the celebration until the first day of January.

Baptism is a very important event for catholic believers because it is the day when we offer our little ones in the loving care of God.  It is a very important sacrament for us because it signifies our faith and love for God.

Whatever you do today will surely affect your future and so you have to think wisely on what to do with the extra time and money that you have right now to prepare for any tough times in the future.  Avoiding bankruptcy is really up to you because you are the one controlling your finances.  Nevertheless, here are some of the few tips that I can share with you on how to avoid bankruptcy in the future.

  • Increase your cashflow - now that you are able to generate income it is advisable to increase your cashflow while you still have resources.
